Jalen Ramsey Did Not Practice Wednesday Due to Apparent Back and Hamstring Issues
By Michael Luciano

Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey is still seeking a trade away from the organization, and after missing practice due to illness earlier in the week, Ramsey was once again a non-participant on Wednesday.
Ramsey did not practice on Wednesday as he was reportedly receiving treatment on his lower back and hamstrings.
As the practice week ramps up in Jacksonville, #Jaguars Pro Bowl CB Jalen Ramsey is expected to be at the facility today, source said. However, he’s a little banged up, as he’s been receiving treatment for issues related to his lower back and hamstrings.

Given how adamant Ramsey is on seeking a trade, it's fair to assume that these injuries can be a bit on the exaggerated side as Ramsey tries to avoid an Earl Thomas-like injury that torpedoes his trade value.
Jaguars fans may not be overly pleased with both his desire to be dealt and his inability to suit up for practice, but Ramsey is looking out for No. 1 here, and is set on playing somewhere that isn't overseen by either Tom Coughlin or Doug Marrone.

With the trade deadline approaching, those No. 20 Jaguars jerseys could be headed for the clearance rack. But considering no deal has been made of yet, there's a real chance that Ramsey spends the rest of the season in Jacksonville.
For now, he'll do what he can to protect his body and trade value, and if that means skipping a few practices to make sure he's in tip-top shape, then so be it.
