Jags Should Not Trade Jalen Ramsey Right Now
By Michael Luciano

Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey has made it abundantly clear that he thinks his time in Jacksonville is at an end, as he has requested a trade amid friction with upper management.
Owner Shahid Khan has been unwilling to deal the best player on a Jacksonville team that likely isn't going anywhere. Khan is absolutely taking the right stance at this moment in time.
Despite Jalen Ramsey's request for a trade, the Jaguars are not interested in trading their Pro-Bowl cornerback. But he still wants a trade. Something has to give....https://t.co/tqnKhCCzSG

Ramsey's value has become relatively low at tis point for a player of his caliber, assuredly because there isn't a team that both is in urgent need of a cornerback right now, and is willing to part with multiple premium picks and players to acquire Ramsey.
If the Jaguars hold onto Ramsey -- who has said that he is willing to play for Jacksonville while he awaits his trade -- and cross their fingers that a team needs a cornerback will suddenly materialize, they could improve their return.
When you have an asset of his caliber that needs to move, fools rush in. A modicum of patience is needed to prevent a total failure.
Jay Glazer reporting that things with Jalen Ramsey went bad after a meeting with Tom Coughlin last week. After that meeting, Ramsey demanded a trade.

You can easily see this. Coughlin is a dinosaur when it comes to relating to the modern player.
The Jags don't exactly have a history of wheeling and dealing with big pieces like these, so there is reason to believe they'll mess this up. However, Tom Coughlin and the front office should take EXTREME caution before they pull the trigger on a Ramsey trade.
