The Fighting Irish's Playoff dreams were shattered after their humbling 45-10 defeat on the road at Michigan earlier in the year, but they've rebounded nicely.
In fact, Brian Kelly's offense has averaged a shade under 44 points per game in their last four tilts. Now, they will have the opportunity to feast on an ISU defense that's surrendered a whopping 31 points per over their final five games to close the year. Ian Book wrapped up his senior season with 33 touchdown passes to just six interceptions, and also added 537 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.

The Cyclones, on the other hand, enjoyed a nice start to their campaign, jumping out to a 5-2 mark through their first seven games. However, they collapsed down the stretch to the tune of a 2-3 slide, and ultimately finished 7-5. Brock Purdy will look to lead the offense, having thrown 27 touchdowns to nine interceptions this year.
The key storyline to keep an eye on in this one will be Iowa State's No. 9 ranked passing game in the country going up against ND's No. 3 ranked pass defense.
Something's gotta give this afternoon in Orlando.
