Iowa QB Commit Walks Back Comments Trash Talking Ohio State
By Seth Carlson

Players like to trash talk sometimes, but be careful what you wish for. After committing to the University of Iowa to become their next quarterback, Deuce Hogan was very confident about what goals he was looking to accomplish when he begins his NCAA career.
He aimed his words specifically at Big Ten rival Ohio State.
Just spoke with Iowa QB commit @_DeuceHogan__ I asked him what Iowa fans can expect from him and he said "First of all, just a winner". He then went on to say "I'm going to make the defensive coordinator at Ohio State pull his hair out". Story coming later.

Hogan made it clear he would like to win games at the college level after being recruited as a 3-star quarterback out of high school. It's encouraging for Iowa fans to see the future of their program exude a lot of confidence, and particularly the heat he put on college football powerhouse Ohio State.
Though he did not apologize to Ohio State for his comments, he did manage to go on Twitter and walk back the brash talk just a little.
For everyone mad about my OSU quote, it was simply playful banter ?. I have buddies committed to OSU?. The quote has been mis-quoted and taken completely out of context. No apologies, simply clarification. As always, Go Hawks!

Ohio State is nationally recognized for its consistency on defense and producing top teams annually. Iowa has not been as fortunate with football success. However, it should be a fun next few seasons in Iowa once this kid gets going and finally takes the field against OSU.
