Incredible Mural in Venice Beach Pays Tribute to Late Angels Pitcher Tyler Skaggs

The baseball world was shocked to hear of Los Angeles Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs' death this past Monday and players across the league paid their respects to his friends and family.

The locals in Venice Beach did as well and graffitied this amazing mural in memory of the 27-year-old.

RIP.

The Angels are honoring Skaggs throughout the year by wearing a commemorative patch on their jerseys, so Southern California will be reminded of him for quite a while.

The details of his death have yet to be released, but a statement from the Southlake Police Department revealed Skaggs was found dead in his hotel room in Texas just before the team's series against the Rangers. The family has requested the autopsy not be released until October.

Monday's game was canceled as a result of the tragic news, but now the Angels are eyeing a sweep of the Rangers after taking the series, which was a resilient response from the team.
