Hugh Freeze is Coaching From a Weird Little Stage Today in Latest Hijinks
By Ryan Flores

Liberty coach Hugh Freeze is going through a whole lot just to get back to coaching on the football field.
After having back surgery due to a staph infection, Freeze was forced to coach from the press box for the first two weeks of the season. Now he will coach Saturday night against the Buffalo Bulls from a stage, which comes with a railed barrier, a chair, and oddly, a music stand.

This is a big step up from the past couple of weeks, when Freeze was forced to coach from both a hospital bed and a dentist's chair. It's an encouraging sign that he will be able to make it to field level and will be able to sit in a regular chair.
Freeze is quite literally doing everything he can to put his team in the best position to win, and if that means setting up a personal podium in order to call the shots, then so be it.
The question of "How is Hugh Freeze coaching this week?" has become the unexpectedly intriguing side-story of this season: https://t.co/dqOY2bCDRD

That's called dedication.
Hopefully this move to the field will help Liberty, as they've dropped their first two games against Syracuse and Louisiana in blowouts.
