Hue Jackson Actually Suggested No One Should Hold His Horrific Browns Tenure Against Him
By Will Coleman

Hue Jackson has been through a little bit of everything. With football coaching experience dating back to 1987, Jackson has helped revamp multiple NFL offenses over the years, but he's also made for a pretty crummy head coach when given the opportunity.
Jackson's overall head coaching resume in the NFL is as dismal as it gets at 11-44-1. His track record with the Browns, however, is astonishing. Jackson managed a 3-36-1 record in fewer than three full seasons in Cleveland... but he still thinks those numbers shouldn't define him as a potential head coaching candidate on the market.

Jackson's rebuttal is that his record "speaks for itself." Really, he's correct -- just not in the way he'd prefer. His run in Cleveland was historically bad, and he's never been a part of a big winner as an offensive coordinator, either.
At the end of the day, he faced expectations with the Browns that he never even came remotely close to meeting. He's nuts if he doesn't believe that the stink of his struggles won't follow him to his next interview (if he ever does get one).
This is what I'll say about Stefanski: the Hue Jackson hire was called a huge win, fans were amped about Freddie Kitchens... and everyone was wrong as hell.

Seems like most everyone hates this hire, so that's a change. https://t.co/2b8eK2RNCw
Jackson still wonders why he's out of a job right now, but it's actually pretty simple: he put up the single worst record of any head coach in NFL history through a minimum of 40 games. That shouldn't surprise anyone, least of all himself.
