On Saturday, the Kentucky Wildcats beat Ole Miss 67-62, giving them their fourth win in a row and eight of their last nine games. The LSU Tigers and Auburn Tigers both lost their last games, giving the Wildcats sole ownership of first place in the SEC.

This is huge for the Wildcats, as they started the season off with a solid 8-3 record, but have gone an amazing 12-2 since then to boost themselves to 12th in the NCAA in the most recent rankings.

Kentucky has some spectacular players, including Nick Richards (14.6 PPG, 8.2 RPG), Immanuel Quickley (15.0 PPG, 4.1 RPG, 1.8 APG) and Ashton Hagans (12.0 PPG, 4.2 RPG, 6.7 APG), who have helped the team resurge to the dominant team it is today.

While all these players star for the Wildcats, it was Tyrese Maxey's lockdown defense at the end of the game that sealed the win over Ole Miss on Saturday.

The Kentucky Wildcats are legit. If they keep playing this well, we wouldn't be surprised to see them go on a championship run come March.
