Could another blockbuster NBA offseason trade be in the works?

Paul George being offloaded to the Clippers has left the Thunder at a crossroads and has many members of Oklahoma City's front office currently questioning the future of superstar point guard Russell Westbrook. While the Rockets are considered to have an outside shot at reuniting Brodie with James Harden, the Heat should be considered the true favorites at this stage.

For starters, the all-knowing Adrian Wojnarowski labeled Miami as a legitimate destination for Russ just yesterday. Now, we have come across several inklings and cracks that hint the former MVP is destined to take his talents to South Beach.

Again, we can't confirm anything, but we also can't deny how suspicious and alluring this alleged gaffe by NBA.com is.

Next up on the list is a piece of advice that claims we should all have our Woj notifications on, thanks to an OKC reporter who's clearly read the tea leaves. And if you already do, keep those phones within striking distance.

For those wondering, Nate Feken is a reporter/anchor for Oklahoma News Channel 4. He might just possess some valuable insight nobody else has.

And finally, a Miami native, who we presume to be a producer for a local radio station, claims he has a source close to the organization (who it appears has come through before) who is whispering that the Heat are "finalizing" a deal with OKC.

This is all mere speculation, but coupling these three rumors with Woj's assertion makes for an extremely compelling storyline. And plus, it makes sense! The Heat love star power, even the kind that doesn't necessarily play nice with new acquisition Jimmy Butler.

All that's left to do now is wait for any potential confirmation or follow-up report from one of the big-gun insiders of the basketball community. We know Russ is gone. And as long as his destination isn't the Knicks, it should pay off.
