VIDEO: High School Basketball Announcer Just Gave Us the Most Bizarre Dunk Call You'll Ever Hear

High school sports being broadcast to a local audience can provide some of the best clips from truly amateur announcers, and this one is no exception. One announcer took the time mid-game to address those furry friends who are gone, but not forgotten, and the other announcer was forced to jump in and call a dunk a that exact moment, making this clip absolute gold.

While recounting the tale of poor Lucy the canine being run over by a car at 12 years old, one player threw down a vicious fast break dunk, forcing his partner to interject with the bizarre, yet amazing, "Like that? Did she get run over like that?"
From disbelief to outright laughter, there are so many valid reactions to this statement.

This also begs the question, why were they even talking about deaths in the first place? Talking about a dog passing away does not seem like the best thing to be bringing up during a high school basketball time. Announcer No. 1 is...also at fault!
This was either the right situation at the right time, or the entirely wrong situation at an otherwise exciting time, depending on your view of the situation. Just another bit of brilliance from local television that the internet has conjured up.
