Various sports organizations' Twitter accounts have been compromised of late, with a hacking group which goes by the name of OurMine claiming responsibility.
After taking down the Bears, Packers, and about half the NFL, the used their expertise to bring down the Worldwide Leader in Sports on Tuesday, hacking into ESPN's Twitter account and leaving a message for its followers.

The hackers seemed to issue somewhat of a warning by stating, "Today will be crazy so be ready for the news."
OurMine operates out of Saudi Arabia, and on Monday compromised as many as 15 professional sports team Twitter accounts. The group first made headlines back in 2016 after it hacked into various social media accounts of public figures and organizations, including that of the NFL.
The group didn't stop with ESPN's main account, however, infiltrating the SportsCenter account and leaving the exact same message.

And, yes, they got into Facebook, too. No one is safe, as long as you're a part of the ESPN family!

If you run the Twitter account of a professional sports organization that has yet to be hacked by OurMine, it may be time to look into improving your internet security.
