By Mark Powell

Another tragedy has struck the Georgia Tech football program, this one just as unexpected as the last.
In devastating news, it's been reported that 4-star WR signee Bryce Gowdy has passed away. He was just days away from enrolling in the program.

Rest In Peace to a young man taken way too soon. https://t.co/u25aeuAfUe
Gowdy was only 17 years old, and was coming off a tremendous senior season in Deerfield Beach, FL. The 4-star target had offers from the likes of Florida State, Florida, Auburn and Georgia in the Early Signing Period, but chose Geoff Collins' Yellow Jackets.
The college football community is at a loss for words.

This is the second tragedy of 2019 for the Yellow Jackets, as defensive lineman Brandon Adams passed away last March after collapsing in his home.
The details surrounding Gowdy's death remain scarce, and we do not wish to spread rumors at this time regarding such an unfortunate and serious subject. When more information becomes available, this story will be updated.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Gowdy's friends and family during this difficult time.
