Gabe Kapler Totally Shuts Down Sean Rodriguez's Criticism of Philly Fans

One night removed from hitting an extra innings walk-off home run against the Pittsburgh Pirates, Sean Rodriguez does not have the support of his manager on one particular issue.
Gabe Kapler dismissed any notion of Philadelphia fans being "entitled" after Rodriguez described them as exactly that for booing certain players on the team, including himself.
Sean Rodriguez hit a walk-off homer last night, but afterward called #Phillies fans "entitled." Gabe Kapler disagreed and pointed out the obvious: you need thick skin to play in Philly. https://t.co/jdgR1Yp3N5

And in fitting fashion, Philadelphia fans booed Rodriguez when he stepped to the plate for the first time Tuesday night as his walk-off was being replayed on the big screen.
Philadelphia sports fans are known to boo their team's athletes when they aren't performing up to their standards, and Rodriguez had been doing even worse than simply "not well." Since late May, Rodriguez is hitting .179 with a .627 OPS. He deserved those boos.

Kapler's quote suggested that players need thick skin in Philadelphia, and that some of the greatest athletes in Phillies history have been booed, including Ryan Howard, Jimmy Rollins and Mike Schmidt.
Those are legends. Rodriguez is not.
I suggest Rodriguez keeps to himself and works on raising that average before whining about being criticized.
