In case you were unaware, Lamar Jackson is absolutely dominating in 2019, using both his arms and legs to leap to the top of the NFL MVP race. A lot of credit has to be given to offensive coordinator Greg Roman, as he's gotten the most out of the second-year signal caller.

Well, the Ravens should feel lucky to have Roman, because if former OC Marty Mornhinweg were still in charge, Jackson might not even be playing quarterback. Reports claimed that Mornhinweg, during his tenure with the Ravens, was pushing for Jackson to be moved to wide receiver. He has been bashed on social media for the suggestion in recent days, considering Jackson's stellar play under center.

The former OC has since come out and denied those reports, claiming he never tried to push a position change on the quarterback.

Mornhinweg said via "The GM Shuffle" Podcast, "That didn't happen. Never said that."

He seemed pretty direct in his response to the reports, but maybe he's just filled with regret over not capitalizing on Jackson's skillset. After all, Mornhinweg was ousted this past offseason in favor of Roman, and the Ravens are thriving.

Well, this is effectively a case of "he said, she said," but if anything is clear, it's that the Ravens are reaping the rewards of Jackson's versatility. Baltimore sits atop the AFC North at 8-2, with wins over the Patriots, Seahawks and Texans in three of their past four games.

Lamar Jackson has answered any and all questions about what position he's best suited to be playing.
