VIDEO: Mark Ingram Acts as Postgame Hype Man for Lamar Jackson and Declares Him MVP

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson continues to prove his doubters wrong week in and week out, and now, he even has his fellow veteran teammates essentially serving as his press secretaries. Just watch how Mark Ingram hypes Jackson up and declares him the MVP frontrunner right before Jackson heads to the podium for his postgame presser.

Now that's a real teammate. Ingram is perhaps the ultimate hype man to have, as the veteran running back spent the first eight years of his career serving as Drew Brees' de facto power back down in New Orleans.

Jackson turned in another dominant performance on Sunday, throwing for 222 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for an additional 86 yards in the Ravens' 41-7 thrashing of the Houston Texans. In fact, Jackson earned an endorsement for MVP from Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson as well, which is the highest praise Jackson could've received from his opponent.

However, in terms of the MVP race, Chris Carson and other Seattle Seahawks players will have something to say about Ingram's bold statement, as their quarterback, Russell Wilson, has been nearly as sensational as Jackson thus far.

It's going to be a tight race for MVP this season, and while the two frontrunners have been established, it remains to be seen if one of them will pull ahead of the other and leave no doubt in the minds of voters. Keep letting Ingram act as Lil' Jon either way. Can't hurt.
