The current NFL free agent was a fifth-round pick by the Jaguars out of Ohio University and mostly played special teams last season. He was released earlier this year due to a roster crunch.
With Browns running back Kareem Hunt, Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill and Redskins LB Reuben Foster among an unfortunate slew of others involved in alleged domestic issues, this latest case has to raise more questions about how the NFL will decide to handle abuse and assault allegations in the future. For now, fans have every right to expect more from the league in response.
