By Michael Luciano

Before Mike Gundy stuck his foot in his mouth and nearly alienated his entire team as Oklahoma State head coach, he was allegedly getting into racially-tinged confrontations with Big Eight foes when he was a quarterback with the Cowboys.
Alfred Williams, a former star at Colorado who enjoyed a successful stint in the NFL with the Denver Broncos, claims that Gundy called him the N-word during a Cowboys-Buffaloes games in 1989.

Williams, who is now a radio host in Denver, saw his quotes once again brought into the limelight after Broncos teammate and "Undisputed" host Shannon Sharpe brought the incident up on national TV earlier in the week.
Williams' claim was reported in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch in 1989, but Gundy denied it then and is once again doing so now. Williams, however, is adamant that Gundy did use such reprehensible language, which could spell the end for him in Stillwater if it is confirmed to be true.

Gundy admitting to using this word would get him fired from Oklahoma State and all but end his career in college football, and given that he's supposed to be a leader and role model to amateur athletes, he will have to face the music once more.
