Sometimes, a player ends up with a new team and it feels like a match made in heaven. When Alabama cornerback Trevon Diggs fell to the Dallas Cowboys at pick No. 51 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, it soon felt like one of those moments.

This morning, Diggs took to Twitter to share his reaction to joining up with the most iconic brand in football, and it was pitch-perfect.

Diggs' elation mirrors that of Cowboys fans and the organization, as they were surely elated to be able to pick him up as late as the middle of Round 2.

Going into the draft, Diggs was widely recognized as one of the best talents available at the cornerback position, impressing scouts with his athleticism in his four years playing in the SEC.

The Cowboys desperately needed a defensive talent like Diggs, too. After taking wide receiver CeeDee Lamb in the first round, Dallas had a lot of questions to answer on defense going into the second day of the draft. And in their very first opportunity to answer, they delivered.

The Cowboys' secondary was left barren after cornerback Byron Jones and safety Jeff Heath left this offseason. The addition of Trevon Diggs -- younger brother of Buffalo Bills wide reciever Stefon Diggs, sure enough -- has helped fill a massive hole for the Boys. The organization has got to be excited to have him on the roster, and Diggs' tweet shows he's bringing the very same enthusiasm.
