Flyers' Mascot Gritty Trolls PK Subban With Sign About His Fiancée Lindsey Vonn

This week's edition of "Wednesday Night Hockey" features two Metropolitan Division rivals, as the Philadelphia Flyers host the New Jersey Devils in their home opener.

Of course, when it comes to any hockey rivalry, chirping is an absolute must. Beloved Flyers mascot, Gritty, set his sights on Devils star defenseman PK Subban by making a hilarious poster about his fiancée, Olympic gold medalist skier Lindsey Vonn.

Come on Gritty, did you really have to do PK like that?

As it turns out, this can be classified as payback by the big orange mascot. Last week, Subban called out one of Gritty's in-arena stunts, saying he can perform it better.

Gritty wasn't impressed whatsoever, expressing his belief that Subban is obsessed with him.

He waited a full week to ensure he was in the same building as Subban to dish this savage reply. Did Subban see it? That's still yet to be determined.

PK Subban has shown he's one of the more charismatic players in the NHL. Gritty earned his rep as professional sports' favorite mascot in just one year thanks to his antics.

Now, with both giant personalities in the same division, we're here for this rivalry.
