Former Florida State quarterback Deondre Francois, who was dismissed from the program back in February, has enrolled at Hampton University as a graduate transfer, meaning he has immediate eligibility.

Francois is the favorite to win the starting job for Hampton.

This news comes after Francois was going to attempt to walk-on at Florida Atlantic back in May, but nothing ever materialized.

Francois' dismissal stems from a domestic violence incident, as his ex-girlfriend posted on Instagram that he abused her. Francois was not charged with a crime, but in April he was cited for a misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

The former Seminoles quarterback missed the entire 2017 season with a knee injury. He started 11 games in 2018 where he threw for 2,731 yards with 15 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
