Ereck Flowers Getting Absolutely Destroyed at Redskins Camp Will Warm Giants Fans' Hearts

Norm Hall

It's been a tough few months for New York Giants fans. GM Dave Gettleman spent the offseason systematically destroying the roots of the franchise, trading all-pro wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., refusing to pay their all-pro safety Landon Collins, and drafting a store-brand Eli Manning with the sixth overall pick.

Giants fans deserve a pick-me-up. And if there's anything that will do the trick, it's knowing that notorious former Giants draft bust Ereck Flowers is still out there looking like a high schooler in NFL training camps. For New York's division rival, no less!

Flowers getting destroyed in training camp is the least surprising news of the summer so far. He's been one of the worst offensive linemen in the NFL during his career, and that shows no signs of changing course, as he's apparently getting bullied by rookie Montez Sweat in Redskins camp.

Flowers spent three-and-a-half seasons as the bane of Giants fans' existence after being drafted ninth overall in the 2015 NFL Draft. He was so bad that some particularly salty fans even edited his Wikipedia page to express their displeasure back in 2017:

So, rejoice, Giants fans. Your team may be in shambles, but at least Ereck Flowers is somebody else's problem.
