By Chris Russo

The football gods have finally spared the Philadelphia Eagles in terms of injury news.
Running back Miles Sanders appears to be in good condition after he suffered a shoulder injury against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Per Jeff McLane, Doug Pederson described Sanders as being day-to-day.

The status update on Sanders is particularly good news, as it gives him a real shot at taking the field against the Bears in Week 9.
The rookie had a stellar performance against the Bills, highlighted by a run in which he torched their defense for a 65-yard score. He was in the midst of a career game prior to picking up the shoulder injury, from which he did not return.

Sanders has seen his role increase in recent weeks and has made the most of his additional touches, so getting him back on the field next week is critical for the Eagles.
On the year, the former Penn State standout has logged 66 rushes for 294 yards and a touchdown, while catching 19 passes for 274 yards and another score.
