Miles Sanders Exits Best Game of Eagles Career With Shoulder Injury
By Michael Luciano

Injuries, thou art a harsh mistress. Philadelphia Eagles rookie running back Miles Sanders was lighting up the Buffalo Bills, piling up 74 yards rushing and a touchdown on the road against an elite defense.
Naturally, Sanders' career day was brought to an abrupt end when the former Penn State star was forced to leave the game with a shoulder injury. It remains to be seen if Sanders will return in this one.
Miles Sanders has a shoulder injury and is questionable to return. Went in the locker room. Was having his best game with the #Eagles.

65 of Sanders' 74 rushing yards came on one play, when he ripped off a long touchdown run right through the teeth of the Bills defense. It was just one play, but Sanders looked much more explosive than Jordan Howard or Darren Sproles had at any point during the season.
Some serious MILES per hour.

The Eagles' running game has been a mishmash of riding the hot hand with minimal cohesion. Hopefully Sanders is healthy, and this game will give Doug Pederson some clarity.
