Dr. Anthony Fauci Reveals How Baseball Could Return With Fans in 2020
By Jerry Trotta

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation's esteemed expert on infectious diseases and COVID-19, has been a beacon of hope amid quarantine by highlighting potential realities that could see the country reopen and return to normal.
Fauci has even addressed the state of the sports world and claimed as recently as last week that live sports could return (without fans) this summer.

Now, however, the 79-year-old physician is envisioning a world that would see baseball return with fans in the stands, albeit with expected limitations.

"If we get the virus under really good control and certain regions of the country can get gradually from the gateway to the phase one to the phase two to the phase three," Fauci told Jack Curry of the YES Network, "it is conceivable that you may be able to have some baseball with people practicing physical separation. Namely, you don’t pack a stadium."
Fauci is as real as they come, and he continued to state that it's more likely that we're going to have "more of a television baseball than a spectator baseball."
CBS Sports reported Monday night that Major League Baseball has explored a scenario in which teams relocate to three hubs: Florida, Arizona and Texas.

However, if Fauci says having fans present at games, so long as they follow certain restrictions, is possible, then that's something to look forward to, even if it's a LONG way from coming to fruition.
That means everything these days.
