It's a surprise to no one that the Miami Dolphins are in a tank mode, as they set their focus on rebuilding through the draft. The team already traded away Laremy Tunsil, Kenny Stills, and Minkah Fitzpatrick. And it appears the Fins aren't done yet.

According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the Dolphins are making running back Kenyan Drake available via trade. After contract negotiations stalled between both parties, Miami's front office is looking to flip Drake for a draft pick.

The move shouldn't come as a shock, considering Drake is in the final year of his contract. Not to mention, he hasn't been able to escape running back by committee purgatory. This past Sunday against the Washington Redskins, head coach Brian Flores started Mark Walton over Drake.

That's where the issues persist in terms of trade value. If the Dolphins are willing to move him "for the right price," they can't expect a high draft pick in return for the former third-round selection out of Alabama. Between losing the start this past week to Walton and averaging just 3.7 yards per carry this season, Drake would realistically fetch a late-round draft pick.

With contract talks stalled, it appears more likely than not that Kenyan Drake will be on another squad by the Oct. 29 trade deadline.
