Dolphins DL Kendrick Norton Reportedly Has Left Arm Amputated Following Car Accident

On Thursday morning, the Miami Dolphins announced that defensive tackle Kendrick Norton was involved in a serious car accident. An initial prognosis of his injuries were not considered life-threatening, but were deemed to have the potential to end his football career.
Unfortunately, a heartbreaking update has surfaced on his accident.
Authorities detailed that the multi-car accident featured Norton's vehicle rolling over and paramedics had to improvise and amputate his left arm at the scene, Miami on-air personality Andy Slater reports.
Unfortunate news: The overnight, rollover crash involving Dolphins DL Kendrick Norton resulted in paramedics having to amputate his left arm at the scene, multiple sources tell me.

What a devastating turn of events, as it appears the amputation was necessary to save Norton's life.
Norton of course isn't expected to play for the Dolphins again following Thursday's incident.

The Panthers drafted Kendrick in the seventh round in 2018, but proceeded to cut him during training camp. He joined Miami for the last two games of the 2018 season after claiming him off of Carolina's practice squad.
