Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns and new Golden State Warrior D’Angelo Russell had a Sunday that was probably a lot more fun than yours or mine. Russell posted three stories on his Instagram Sunday depicting himself and Booker in a class while painting and sipping wine. As if you're not envious already, Russell showed off their view, which wasn't too shabby.

It is no secret that the two NBA stars are close friends. On Booker's Instagram page, Russell, 23, is tagged in numerous pictures of the two on boats in exotic locales or at an exclusive evening event. In February, D-Lo posted a picture of Booker, 22, in a Brooklyn Nets jersey.

Booker and Russell were both selected in the 2015 NBA Draft, with Booker going to the Suns with the 13th pick and Russell to the Lakers second overall. In 2018, Booker and the Suns since agreed to a five-year, $158 million contract extension, making him the highest-paid player in the franchise's history.

This past season, Russell was very open about how seeing his friends (Booker and Karl-Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves, specifically) motivated him to get his own big-time extension. Right on cue, the craziness of 2019's NBA free agency saw Russell and the Warriors agree to a $117 million contract over four years. And with that kind of dough comes the right to take some time off to do some painting.
