DePaul University Sued for Reportedly Covering up 'Abusive Cult' in Softball Program
By Mark Powell

DePaul's softball team is in hot water, after their former coach reportedly got violent with assistants and verbally abused players.
A new lawsuit, which is aimed at the University, even considered the program to have a so-called cult mentality.

One of DePaul's sports psychologists, Jenny Conviser, alleges that former coach Eugene Lenti -- who had been considered a legend at the school -- frequently called his players NSFW and degrading slurs. Such language on the record would, for obvious reasons, not be tolerated.
Lenti's status in the Athletic Department as head of a program that had won over 1,000 games during his tenure allegedly impacted the lack of urgency in any potential investigation.
Conviser claims the school failed to take action against Lenti, which is why she's resorted to these means against the University as a whole.
A lot of people should get fired and/or sued at DePaul because this looks like a coverup https://t.co/RSKMWg1Hd3

Lenti's 40 years at the school allegedly led to an unstable work environment, and neither party is still employed by DePaul. Lenti currently serves as an assistant on Auburn's softball staff.
