The Toronto Raptors are through to the NBA Finals, but not everything has come easy, especially for Danny Green.

Green has been in a massive slump during the postseason. Sometimes, the best way to escape a slump is to simply keep it out of your mind. Well, that's not been an easy thing for Green to do, largely because of encouragement from fans who are hopeful that he will turn the corner.

"It's hard not to think about it because everyone in the world is telling you don't think about it," he said lightheartedly. "Everybody you come across: 'Keep shooting it,' trust me I'm going to keep shooting."

Green is shooting just 32.5% from the field and is averaging a modest 6.8 points per game, but it's good to see that he's at least remaining optimistic about things.

If there's anything he can take solace in, it's the fact that he usually saves the best for last. In 12 career NBA Finals games, Green has shot 52% from three-point territory.

It goes without saying, however, that he'll need to turn things around for Game 1 against the Warriors. If the Raptors are to stand a chance, then Green busting out of his slump will be critical.
