Cowboys Nation held their collective breaths after they found out All-Pro offensive lineman Zack Martin was forced to undergo an MRI on Friday after combating back spasms over the last few days at Dallas' training camp.

Well, the results are reportedly back and it's absolutely tremendous news for head coach Jason Garrett and Co.

Per Cowboys insider Mike Fisher, Martin isn't facing any serious back issues, though the organization will slow-play his return.

That sound you hear is virtually every individual associated with the franchise breathing a compiled and profound sigh of relief. It's great news. Everybody knows a healthy offensive line is the premier key for the Boys to have any shot at making a deep playoff run.

And Martin has been the very spine of that dynamic ever since he entered the league out of Notre Dame back in 2014. Since then, he's made the Pro Bowl in each of his five seasons and been named to three All-Pro teams.

If training camp has been any indication, it's that the 28-year-old stud appears to be preparing for another world-beating campaign.

Outside of Ezekiel Elliott and (maybe) Dak Prescott, Martin is the ONE player the Cowboys cannot afford to lose for an extended period of time.

And this report suggests that the franchise avoided a major impediment.
