Conor McGregor won't always get the win in the ring, but he stays winning in life. He's a showman of the fighting scene and is always looking to make headlines in order to widen his pockets while showing his toughness.

The Irishman returns to the octagon on Jan. 18 for a matchup against Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone, but recently discussed a potential return the ring with a rematch against Floyd Mayweather and a fight against the legendary Manny Pacquiao.

When McGregor was asked about the possibility of facing Pacquiao on Ariel Helwani's MMA Show, he was sure to mention his efforts of signing him as well.

"You know, Manny. We’re actually close to signing Manny," he said. "There’s been talks about the Manny fight as well."

McGregor will be focused on UFC 246 coming up on Jan. 18 against Cowboy, but he will continue to do his part in promoting any future fights to later secure the bag.

Could we actually end up seeing McGregor in the ring against Manny? It'd sure provide plenty of entertainment if it actually went down.
