The Buffalo Bills are in prime position to be the new big dogs in the AFC East. With the New England Patriots in murky waters with the departure of Tom Brady, it's their division to lose. It's a new era in the AFC East, but dominance in that particular division will still be synonymous with New England for some time. Buffalo's latest number change isn't doing them any favors when it comes to emerging from that shadow.

Slot receiver Cole Beasley changed his number from 10 to 11, and it's got a lot of fans thinking of another wideout East of Buffalo. Cole Beasley is basically diet Julian Edelman, and assuming the Patriots star's number is only going to ramp up the comparisons.

In all fairness, Beasley wore No. 11 for seven years in Dallas, and the initial switch was more of an outlier than this, but that isn't going to stop fans from raising their eyebrows at the move.

Aside from the Edelman comparisons, Bills fans are more upset about the change for more personal, and in some cases, physical, reasons.

Others are hyped that he'll be taking back his signature number after having relinquished it to the disappointing Zay Jones.

Whatever Bills fans may think, and regardless of the fact that it's a return to form for Beasley, the comparisons are unlikely to end between he and Edelman.
