Cheerleader Who Got Hit in Face in Notre Dame-Louisville Hilariously Responds on Twitter
By Jerry Trotta

The Louisville Cardinals couldn't get out of their own way against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Monday night, losing their home-opener at Cardinal Stadium 35-17.
However, Scott Satterfield's team weren't the only individuals associated with Louisville that took a major L on the night.
Notre Dame gunslinger Ian Book was facing a hefty pass rush in the fourth quarter, and threw off his back foot in an attempt to find a wideout near the sideline. Instead, the ball sailed on him and drilled a member of the Cards' cheerleading squad square in the face.

Ouch.
After the game, however, the woman was identified via Twitter as she -- Elizabeth Scott -- hilariously vented to the social media site to cope with the unfortunate (and painful) scenario.
My broken nose is twitter trending huh

Did you just make a Twitter yesterday, Liz? Of course your broken nose is trending. Laughing at the expense of others' pain is still prevalent in today's day and age.

Way to rebound and stay relevant with a meme that has taken the world by storm in recent weeks.
In case you were wondering, yes, she went out of her way to shoutout Ian Book for his erratic heave.
Thank u Ian book https://t.co/FXgPtgQOpp

We presume that an apology from the Irish QB is inbound.
If this doesn't perfectly summarize the greatness of Twitter, then nothing does. It stays having zeroes in the loss column.
