The Houston Astros are still feeling the aftershock of their actions regarding the cheating scandal in 2017. Numerous players have called out the franchise on their dishonest acts in order to obtain an unfair advantage against other teams.

Former San Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy was the latest large figure in MLB to call out the Houston Astros. While he thought the Astros tactics of securing a ring in 2017 was wrong, he was also not surprised that a scandal of this nature has surfaced due to the advancement of technology.

“It’s unfortunate,” Bochy said on The Chronicle’s “Giants Splash” podcast. “You know what’s really sad about this whole thing is, they won the World Series in ’17, but now that’s a hard ring to wear.

Bochy is one of many people affiliated with the MLB to come out and speak their opinion on the Astros. Many players such as Aaron Judge, Cody Bellinger, Nick Markakis, Kris Bryant and even the soft-spoken Mike Trout have spoken out the Astros and their supposed lack of empathy. Houston hasn't helped matters with a PR campaign which reeks of a lack of sincerity.

Bochy is just the latest -- and unlikely to be the last -- major figure to criticize Houston.
