Browns WR Odell Beckham Currently Dealing With Hip Injury
By Scott Rogust

Earlier on Wednesday, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was reported to be dealing with a hip pointer issue, resulting in him missing practice.
Now, we have some clarificiation.
According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Beckham is actually dealing with a hip injury, not a hip pointer.

Despite the concerning update, Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens believes that Beckham will be ready "pretty soon." In fact, Kitchens didn't rule Beckham out for Cleveland's second preseason game this Saturday against the Indianapolis Colts.
Out of Cleveland's last 15 practices, Beckham has been held out of six 11-on-11 drills. The last time Beckham was a full participant in padded practices was on Aug. 6.

Even with Beckham missing all of OTAs and minicamp following his trade from the New York Giants, the Browns fully expect the wide receiver to get a grasp of the offense and build his chemistry with second-year quarterback Baker Mayfield.
Beckham's status entering Week 2 of the preseason is something to keep an eye on in the coming days.
