Odell Beckham Jr. Goes After Man Who Designed His Custom Cleats in Latest Battle

Odell Beckham Jr. is having quite a time on social media this week.

First, the Cleveland Browns star went after random users in his comments section on Instagram and doubled down on his repeated defenses of his sexual preferences. Now, he's going after the same man who designed the majority of his custom cleats.

Beckham's lawyers sent a cease and desist letter to Troy Cole, the man who made the cleats, asking him to stop using the wide receiver's likeness. Cole took to social media to rip the letter, saying it's the only time he's ever received such a thing in 12 years of work.

He's done plenty of work for NFL stars in the past, including custom designs for both Beckham and Victor Cruz back in 2016.

The Browns superstar responded in kind in the comments of Cole's Instagram post, saying that he was "disappointed" in him and that "it's really a shame" that the cleat designer chose to post "some false bs."

It seems as though the two of them are handling this quite well.

It's not unlike Beckham to lash out like this. Just about everything he does, he does with emotion. But it certainly seems odd that he felt the need to go after Cole in the comments with such ferocity.

It'll be interesting to see if this balloons into anything more. The letter was dated from February of 2018, but if the two of them still have such strong feelings over how the situation went down, this might not be the end from either of them.
