Browns Release Statement on Incident Involving Odell Beckham Jr. at National Championship

The Cleveland Browns are at it again. Now, we're of course not talking about them making plays in the postseason. Instead, we're discussing a national embarrassment surrounding the team.

Once again, it involves controversial wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who had an arrest warrant issued against him after he spanked a police officer on Monday night in the LSU locker room.

The Browns have since released a statement after the warrant news dropped.

Is this really what the Browns need to be focusing on in mid-January? They just hired new head coach Kevin Stefanski, giving hoping to the Cleveland faithful that perhaps better days are on the way.

Instead, their star wide receiver, who was supposed to potentially help them get to the Super Bowl this campaign, is about to be arrested for patting an officer on his butt. What more must this fanbase endure? How much suffering is quite simply enough?

Maybe, just maybe, OBJ will grow up one day, and his immaturity off the field will stop outshining his amazing abilities on it. What was the goal here?
