The Cleveland Browns finally showed off the offense that was so insanely hyped before the start of the regular season, and all it took to get there was a little old-fashioned emphasis.

Heading into Week 4, the Browns were just 25th in total offensive yards, averaging 330.3 yards per game. That all changed when Cleveland smashed the Baltimore Ravens 40-25 on the road.

Looking at the score, one would probably think that Odell Beckham Jr. exploded for over 100 yards receiving and at least a touchdown or two. Oddly enough, that wasn't the case, as he was held to just two receptions on seven targets with cornerback Marlon Humphrey assigned to him. Instead, it was Cleveland running back Nick Chubb who led the way, with Jarvis Landry doing the bulk of the receiving work once the field was opened up.

Finally unleashed, Chubb finished the game with an insane 183 yards and three touchdowns on 23 touches. Landry would finish with 167 yards on eight catches before being knocked out in the second half with a concussion. With Baker Mayfield finishing with 342 yards, the Browns had an offensively historic performance.

It's too early to declare whether the Browns are true contender or not, especially with their up and down play so far. However, if they can have more games like this one, they'll be a serious threat to just about every team in the NFL.

All it took to live up to preseason expectations and grab a share of the AFC North lead was a reemphasis on the running game and a return to form for Chubb against an historically stingy defense. Who knew?!
