Brewers to Reportedly Call up Top Prospect Trent Grisham
By Scott Rogust

The MLB trade deadline has come and gone at 4:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, and while acquiring Drew Pomeranz and Ray Black from the San Francisco Giants, the Milwaukee Brewers are prepared to make an in-house transaction.
According to ESPN's Jeff Passan, the Brewers are expected to call up No. 7 ranked prospect Trent Grisham for Thursday's game.
Breakout prospect Trent Grisham is expected to join the Milwaukee Brewers soon, sources tell ESPN. Grisham, a former first-round pick, played his way onto the Brewers with a standout season at Double-A and Triple-A. A big outfield bat, he is arguably the Brewers’ top prospect.

The Brewers drafted Grisham in the first round of the 2015 MLB Draft, and he has soared up the farm system of late.
After starting in Double-A, Grisham powered his way to a Triple-A promotion, considering he hit 13 home runs and knocked in 41 RBI with Biloxi. Since joining Triple-A San Antonio in June, Grisham is slashing .381/.471/.776, where he hit 13 homers and knocked in 30 runs.
He even hit for the cycle on Tuesday!
Craig Counsell confirmed Trent Grisham is coming up for his MLB debut tomorrow. @Brewers #7 prospect hit for the cycle last night in a career high 5-hit game.

With the Brewers locked in an tightly-contested battle for the NL East lead, they need all the reinforcements they can in order to repeat as division champs. Bringing in Grisham will give Milwaukee power to line up alongside Christian Yelich.
