The Toronto Blue Jays put together quite the interesting offseason. They signed Hyun-Jin Ryu, unveiled some new uniforms, and are looking forward to their army of top prospects taking that next leap forward.

Toronto finally hit a speed bump in what has been a great offseason, and it's an extremely serious one at that. Per the police department, catcher Reese McGuire was arrested last weekend and charged with "exposure of sexual organs."

McGuire was in a strip mall near the Blue Jays' spring training complex in Dunedin. A witness reported seeing the 24-year-old exposing his sexual organs in an SUV.

McGuire hit .299 with five home runs in limited playing time last season, and he was anticipated to push Danny Jansen for the starting catcher job this season.

The Blue Jays released a statement that confirmed that are aware of the incident but won't comment further on the pending legal matter.

McGuire's rise to the top of the Blue Jays' organization could come to an abrupt end if more details about the disgusting nature of his incident with the law start to emerge. This is going to hang over the young catcher for a while.
