Anyone else think things were getting suspiciously quiet around the NFL?

Well thanks to Bengals' edge rusher Carl Lawson, we've got something to talk about.

In a recent interview, Lawson claimed Aaron Rodgers was one of the easier quarterbacks to sack in the NFL.

At first glance, that could sound like a jab at the future Hall of Fame quarterback, but things aren't always as they seem. Lawson seemingly meant it as a compliment, explaining it's easier to sack Rodgers because he's so confident in his own abilities that he'll hold onto the ball longer than other quarterbacks in the league.

In his only game against Rodgers, Lawson recorded 2.5 sacks in a Bengals loss two seasons ago. Overall, Lawson has 9.5 sacks through his first two season in the NFL.

There's no question Lawson respects Rodgers, and when you listen to him, he makes a good point. Rodgers is the type of player who thinks he can make something happen every single play, which can result in an occasional sack or two.

Either way, with only 9.5 sacks to his name, Lawson shouldn't be saying anyone is easy to sack.
