Baker Mayfield was expected to bring the Cleveland Browns to Super Bowl LIV this past offseason, thanks to media and fan hype. That wasn't the case, as they fell to 6-10, and created plenty of detractors in the process.

Now, Mayfield will meet one of his biggest critics to date, face to face, on Super Bowl Week. Big game, indeed!

The second-year quarterback is set to appear on ESPN's "Get Up" on Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. ET, where he'll appear alongside Rex Ryan.

It may be a bit early, but you'd better get some popcorn ready, because this is about to end with some sniping, some furrowed brows, and some side-eye.

Back in September, Ryan blasted Mayfield after the team's slow start to the season. Ryan called the quarterback "overrated as hell" and a "one-read guy." In fact, the former New York Jets head coach was skeptical of Mayfield dating back to the 2018 NFL Draft.

Mayfield, not afraid to plant his flag and defend himself from critics, responded to Ryan by saying he doesn't wear the Browns colors, so his opinion didn't matter. Mayfield delivered a jab afterwards, saying Ryan "doesn't have any colors right now for a reason."

The polarizing quarterback has experience facing his critics on national television. He already did so with Colin Cowherd.

Now, he faces off against Ryan, in what will absolutely be must-see television.
