The Antonio Brown legal saga continues. After the former wide receiver recently met with the NFL regarding the sexual assault allegations he's facing from former trainer Britney Taylor, the story has taken yet another turn.
Per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Brown is now planning to countersue Taylor, accusing her of defamation and interference with his NFL contract and endorsements. Brown alleged that her accusations effectively ruined his career.

Brown reportedly signed a confidentiality agreement with Taylor back in March, which he now says prevents him from discussing "a number of relevant events" which could impact the case.
Taylor, who first became acquainted with AB during their time at Central Michigan, accused Brown of having sexually assaulted her on three separate occasions in 2017 and 2018.
Antonio Brown is hopeful a decision will come from the NFL “very soon,” and there’s optimism from his camp he’ll be cleared to return this season, per @ProFootballTalk.

AB has been out of the league since the aftermath of Week 2, when he was released by the New England Patriots. Brown was traded to the Raiders this offseason, but never played in a regular season game for the team. He then latched on with the Patriots, but was ousted after just a single game.
Since then, AB has gone back and forth over his desire to continue playing in the league, though his latest stance suggests he's eager to get back onto the gridiron.
