Antonio Brown Has Not Taken Up Cops' Offer to Turn Himself in Before They Arrest Him

The police in Hollywood, Florida have given former All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown a chance to end their prolonged standoff that grew this week after a warrant was put out on him for battery and criminal mischief. All he has to do is simply turn himself in. Unfortunately, AB hasn't taken the cops up on their offer as of this time.

After an alleged battery against a delivery truck driver earlier this week, Brown continues to refuse to cooperate with law enforcement in any noticeable way. Rather than turn himself in, Brown has remained essentially locked in his Hollywood home.

This news comes after Brown and his trainer, Glenn Holt, were accused of throwing rocks at the moving truck driver in question before attacking him. The driver also accused Brown of being high when the alleged incident took place.

This goes without saying, but playing hardball with a local police force that already had issues with you in the past isn't exactly going to make proceedings any smoother.

And it certainly won't help if and when this case goes to trial.

Brown is turning a battery warrant into cause for a prolonged, potentially dangerous stalemate in his home with the Hollyood authorities. He's clearly not acting rationally at this point, and someone whom he respects needs to get that through his head quickly if his behavior is to change for the better before it's too late.
