Nothing to see here, folks. Just Mike Trout winning another MVP award.

Yes, the Los Angeles Angels star and best player in the MLB has claimed his third such recognition, beating out Houston Astros slugger Alex Bregman and Oakland Athletics shortstop Marcus Semien.

Trout won the award in 2016 and 2014 as well, and it was the third straight year he's led the league in OBP and OPS. The 28-year-old slashed .291/.438/.645 with 110 runs scored, 45 home runs, 104 RBI and 11 stolen bases in 134 games. Though the Angels missed out on the playoffs yet again, his value cannot be overlooked, as he logged a stunning 8.3 WAR.

Not only that, but Trout made some history in the process.

The only season he didn't finish in the top-two came in 2017 when he played in only 114 games due to injury. That year he came in fourth.

Baseball fans are truly hoping the Angels can do something of relevance before Trout's prime is up because we can't stand to see this kind of production not get awarded with championships.
