Andre Iguodala to Remain Away From Grizzlies While Memphis Looks for Trade Partner
By Kevin Aquino

Well, this whole narrative didn't take too long to change course.
Andre Iguodala will not report to Grizzlies' training camp and Memphis will look to find a suitable situation for the 2015 NBA Finals MVP.
At 35 years old, the three-time champion is looking to join a contender after Golden State unceremoniously shipped him off in order to complete a Kevin-Durant-for-D'Angelo-Russell sign-and-trade.
The Grizzlies have agreed to let Andre Iguodala stay away from the team as they continue to look for a trade. The team has no plans for a contract buyout. https://t.co/kueUalmceW

Centered around rookie Ja Morant and sophomore Jaren Jackson Jr., Memphis surrendered any indication of being a win-now team after they traded Mike Conley and Marc Gasol within the past several months.
Iguodala's been linked to both LA teams, as the Lakers and Clippers continue to duke it out to sit atop the league, and Iggy could be a catalyst that brings one of them there.

1. Andre Iguodala
2. Kevin Love
3. ???
Averaging 5.7 points, 3.2 assists and 3.7 rebounds a game last season, the numbers don't exactly jump off the page, but Iguodala's impact comes beyond the stat sheet.
Andre Iguodala to @MontePooleNBCS: "I was texting with Loon and asking him what he was eating and talking about Jiu-Jitsu training. And then, it’s like, ‘Oh, I forgot. We’re not even on the same team anymore.’ I laugh about that all the time.”

With $17 million attached to Iguodala, the Grizzlies aren't interested in a buyout. There's no timetable for Iguodala's departure from Memphis, but the 2012 All-Star sits atop the list of players who are likely to be traded during the upcoming season.
