Amari Cooper Out for Second Half Against the Jets With Quad Injury
By Adam Weinrib

The Dallas Cowboys have plenty of hurdles to overcome in the second half of a game they once trailed 21-3.
With the defense being picked apart and Dak Prescott repeatedly succumbing to a pass rush, why not remove a top wideout from the picture, too? Amari Cooper, already hobbled by injury concerns entering this one, is now dealing with a quad injury that will hold him out for the remainder of the contest.
Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders is out for the rest of the game due to a knee injury.

Cooper helped lead the Cowboys on a near-comeback last week against the Green Bay Packers, bringing his patented spin move into play when it mattered most, gutting through pain.
Based on his body language throughout this one, however, the writing was on the wall. He's done for the day.

If he doesn't return, Gallup is easily the No. 1. Problem is, who else steps up?
Devin Smith and Randall Cobb are inactive.
In Cooper's absence, Michael Gallup came up with a monster catch to pave the way for Brett Maher's 62-yard field goal at the end of the half. Dallas is going to need plenty more of that to further overcome this deficit.
