This has truly been a crazy buildup to the 2019 season in Antonio Brown's world, and things somehow just got even crazier.

The Oakland Raiders wide receiver fired the man who cooked him dinner at the Pro Bowl in 2018, but until now, it was unknown as to what his reasoning was for giving chef Stefano Tedeschi the sack.

As it turns out, Tedeschi, who has since filed a lawsuit against Brown, had left a salmon head in the fridge at his mansion with the intention of making soup the next day. The only problem is that Brown and his friends took the fish head as a threat -- à la "The Godfather" -- kicking Tedeschi out of the mansion and refusing to pay him $38,000 he was to be owed.

Yeah, pretty much par for the course for the guy who's been threatening to retire all because he hasn't been allowed to wear a helmet the NFL no longer approved.

Brown hired Tedeschi to cook for him at a mansion that he had rented out for the duration of Pro Bowl week. He initially didn't even believe that he was being kicked out because of the salmon head. Until he did.

"The salmon head I thought was a joke," Tedeschi said. "But, apparently, it was real."

This isn't the first time that AB has refused to pay someone he hired. In fact, it's not even the first time this month. In early August, it was reported that Brown was being sued by a former trainer for roughly $7,000 in unpaid expenses.

It's probably safe to say that a good chunk of the money he's getting from his new deal with the Raiders is going to be used to cover these legal expenses that now sit at his feet.

His sad, frostbitten feet.
