4-Star Georgia Commit Reopens Recruitment in Surprising Turn of Events
By Michael Luciano

Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs just lost the commitment of one of the best run-stuffing defensive tackles in the country.
4-star defensive tackle Jamil Burroughs, a Georgia commit for the longest time, announced that he would decommit from Georgia and reopen his recruitment process.

Burroughs has taken several unofficial visits to Alabama, and the Crimson Tide are by far and away the top suitor for Burroughs now that he is back on the market. Florida State, Oklahoma and LSU are also very high on the 330-pound nose tackle.
Hailing from McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Ga., Burroughs will be counted on to stuff the run the first day he shows up on campus, but has shown a surprising amount of pass rush moves and penetration ability for a player of his age and weight.

Losing Burroughs will be painful enough for Smart, but losing him to Alabama of all teams would be a serious gut punch.
