With MLB action returning following the All-Star break, teams will be focused on the trade deadline on July 31. One team to keep an eye on is the New York Yankees, who are in prime position to clinch a playoff spot. However, with pressing needs at pitching, the trade market will present the opportunity to enrich the rotation and make a run at the World Series.

The thing is, non-playoff teams will have a high asking price for their top pitchers, and will certainly want some of the Yankees' top prospects.

In that regard, here are three prospects the New York Yankees should deem untouchable in trade talks.

1. Estevan Florial - OF

Estevan Florial is New York's undisputed top overall prospect, which equally makes him untouchable. Florial is described as a five-tool player, but injuries have limited his path to the show. Regardless, Florial's potential is just too high to pass up on. The outfielder isn't expected in the big leagues until 2021, but he's indispensable.

2. Deivi Garcia - RHP

Of course, the fast-rising Deivi Garcia has caught the attention of Brian Cashman and Aaron Boone, and for good reason. Starting off in High-A, Garcia earned a Triple-A promotion following his showing at the MLB All-Star Futures Game. Cashman has even teased that Garcia could get an MLB promotion this season. With a 3.01 ERA and 114 strikeouts in 14 games to boot, any trade proposal including Garcia should be quickly rescinded.

3. Albert Abreu - RHP

Albert Abreu was the prized possession of the Brian McCann trade back in 2017. Before a slew of injuries, Abreu projected as a top starting pitcher. With a wicked fastball and changeup at his disposal, Abreu not only has potential as a starting pitcher, but also as a pivotal piece for the Yankees' bullpen of the future. He has a 3.82 ERA with 70 strikeouts in 76.1 innings in Double-A this season.
